We’re celebrating Restaurant Week here in Lancaster City! Lancaster City Restaurant Week kicked off Monday, March 24, and runs until Sunday, March 30. If there was ever a week to dine out in Lancaster, this is it. With so many great restaurants to choose from – old and new, I might end up rolling myself into April. Here are a few of my picks for the week:
I hope to enjoy a fancy French dinner at Citronelle one night with Mike. (Hint, hint, wink, wink.) Warm vichyssoise soup, boef bourguignon (or market vegetable tagine for the veggie lovers) and blood orange genoise for dessert for $40. Drool.
I definitely will be at Quips Pub for their weeklong Tröegs Tap Takeover. A 20 oz. draft of Tröegs pairs quite nicely with bangers and mash.
Grabbing a few sandwiches to go from Roaring Brook Market makes for a happy and healthy meal. Plus it’s right around the corner from where I live. Can’t beat that.
I’ve been dreaming about cinnamon french toast and a piping hot cup of coffee for brunch at ForknSpoon Café. Let’s be honest, when am I not dreaming about breakfast foods?
Say no to growling stomachs and keep up with the Lancaster City Restaurant Week Facebook page for any updates during the week. And you can find a full list of participating restaurants and their menu packages at the Lancaster City Restaurant Week website.
